LinguaSnappHamburg is devoted to linguistic landscape research in Hamburg, Germany's second-largest city. The project's backbone is a localised version of the web application LinguaSnapp, originally developed at the university of Manchester by Professor Yaron Matras and his team.
LinguaSnappHamburg consists of a smartphone app, by which visual data can be collected and annotated, and an online map with multiple search oprions that contains the visual data. Click here to access the project's online map with currently (March 2020) more than 1,800 annotated photos from Hamburg's linguistic landscape.
